What to get for under $450 for an FC

I was hoping to improve the handling of my car, but I don't have enough cash to do everything I want to do all at once. I'd eventually like to get the RB springs and sway bars, KYB AGX shocks, Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings, and strut tower braces (front top and bottom and rear top). I've got a stock suspension now with perfectly good stock shocks and 17x8 mustang GT wheels with 225/45/17 Falken FK-451's. I can either get new shocks, or the buishings and strut tower braces, or the springs and sway bars. What would be the best way to improve the handling of the car from those options, or some other options? I'd also like to know how lowering the car 1" affects the alignment (ie, would I need to spend more money to adjust camber).

i think i'd get bushings first, then the springs and shocks, then the sway bars and strut tower braces.

i recommend the same, but do the strut bars before the springs and shocks.

If you don't have enough currently to do shocks/struts AND springs AND bushings, I'd wait. It will be a much smaller headache putting all those together at one time. I'd do the braces first, especially if your current struts and shocks are in good shape. If you can afford to get the sway bars at the same time that's good too.

Right now I'm leaning towards getting the front + rear strut tower bars, the front lower arm bar and the polyurethane bushings. This is the cheapest of the options outlined above, and while the suspension wouldn't be stiffer, I'd think that I'd get much better feedback due to less bushing slop. I'd be wary of upgrading the springs +sways without doing the shoks, and I'd be worried about upsetting the balance by doing just the sway bars. I'd probably rather do the springs, sways and struts/shocks all at once. Any more comments would be welcome.

I did my sway bars first and didn't have any problem with balance changing. I then did the front strut tower bar, followed by rear end-links, and then a rear tower bar. Nothing really got weird it all just progressively made the chassis and suspension feel tighter and more responsive. Like I was saying about doing the springs/struts/bushings at once I'm about to after finally giving up on the stock struts(driver side recently developed a leak) and springs(look like its saggin on my butt's side ). I don't plan on taking the suspension apart multiple times for a $60 set of parts and then $500+ a year later . Just my opinion though, take it for what you will.

Racing Beat of course. G-rex front bar, not sure on the rear(ebay one), and RB endlinks in the rear. Soon I'll be matching everything up with energy suspension bushings, AGX's and HKS super street springs(what a horrible name ). I'm just waiting on some new upper strut mounts before the install.

Cool thanks. I'll have to have a look at my bushings when I take my HP+'s off and put my street pads back on (was at the track last weekend). I'll see if they need doing or not. If they're still good, I'll probably get sway bars instead.
