Hopefully in the next couple of months i will be purchasing a set of wheels and a set of coil overs.

There's the link to the wheels i plan on purchasing. Im torn between those and a set of wheels with a polished lip. But I love Advan wheels. Oh and they will be 18 inches.

I had no idea these wheels were so popular... the RX I got (used) came with a set of 17's of the advan model 5's...

unfortunately, the rear is mounted with 275/40's, which rub the wheel well on the driver side, so I've had them off basically ever since I owned the car.... I will probably remove the 275's, measure up what I got and find out what I can do with them!

are you interested?

These new Advan model 5's look a little different from the old model 5's (my friend had the old-school set on his Supra... Stillen used to stock them).... the spokes go all the way to the lip on these new ones.

Anyone have any info on wether these are a forged wheel, or what they weigh? I think Advans are expensive too.

I think im going to go with the 18 inch setup probally 10 inches in the rear and 9 in the front if i can. I haven't seen anyone with these wheels on there 7 except for one in japan. Im not sure weather i want to go with gun metal or silver. My car is silver, and the silver of the wheel almost matches exactly, but i like the gun metal color too. There pretty light im sure, probally not as light as the stock wheels but light enough.

The wheel is cast as an FYI. The price of a forged wheel but cast. That's the only downside to Advan. So you are definitely paying for the name.
