Personally, I dig em. as long as you get the right offset and width, you should be good to go. in the suspension/wheel and tire section, there's a **** ton of info as to what sizes and offsets fit the FC. I'm running Volk type AVs on my TII. 17x8 +34 front and 17x9 +35 rear. They fit perfectly!

Yokohama Advan's = quality wheels. I'm not a fan of the red but I do have this weird sort of attraction to the Advan 3 spokes. I say go for it if you don't mind the color. Look around though because there are other colors available.

 

I don't know that I'd do red car/red wheels, if the color is even slightly off it will look funny. Keep looking, silver or black ones pop up all the time. Love the SA1s tho, wish I had some money to blow on another set of wheels.

Also, I currrently run Advan 5s and love them, great wheels.

 

hey littlecon, i have a friend down here who imports a **** load of stuff from japan. his shop is called pandagarage. he has some of those wheels along with some other hot ones. they havn't updated the wheels page on the site but they have some more stuff besides whats on there.

yea i saw that page when i was searching lastnight, although i didn't see any of these wheels. Do they have a shop or something? Maybe i can ask them to keep an eye out for these wheels?

i apriciate all the advice guys. You dont see many cars with the same color wheels, and i think the polished lip is just enough to set it off.

i know the guy who runs it. its not really a shop, just imported auto parts. they have some advans there, im not sure on the specs. they also got some nice Work Equips (5 spokes) i think the offsets were around 30-35, and their like 17x8-17x9 (i think). just way until november cuz he holds his 30% off end of the year sale in november. i picked up some works from him for dirt cheap. ill let you know when the sale is, maybe you can cruise down here

 

red on red is bad, even if it matches perfectly. if it was a full race car with stickers and graphics and crazy ****, it could probably pull it off. for an all stock on the outside red car with probably faded paint, and then mismatched red on the wheels.. probably not too hot.

HOWEVER! buy those wheels anyway. they are two piece, you can take them apart and clean them up and repaint or powdercoat the red part to be black/bronze/gold/white whatever, or even match it to the car color if you really want to.

 

it WOULD look hot if the wheels matched the car and he lowered it more. as for that 30% off sale. its scheduled to be mid november.

 

I think they are pretty cool... I would go with white though... Actually... Mine is red and I intend to go with white wheels... But they are definatelly sweet wheels...

 

advans are hot wheels but they are hard to pull off. hard to make fc look good with em but i love em. the oni's are sweet but the sa3r's are the best, those are sa3's i think. and call takumi project before you get your hopes up. they had a set of...godamnit i cant remember what they were now. but i got the cash and called em and they said the wheels were sold out for a while.


i remember. work equips but yeah advan = hot.

advan 3 spokes are ugly imo

and they are hardly unique... plenty of kids run them.

you can find them for cheap from used wheel importers all the time... takumiproject, rbmotoring, etc.
