assuming the offsets are right. 225 front

245 on rear.

min 8" rim for the 245. if only 7" use 225 max 8 on the front to fit.

Raising Arizona..... Are those custom rims? How much approx?

Also did you end up rolling the rear wheel lips for clearance or any other mods.

I assume you have coilovers on the car?

Last but not least out back even with aggressive driving you get no rubbing?

Thanks,

Mark

Hi GNX7:

They are Enkei RPF1's, and cost about 300.00 each and the 9.5's weigh like 15-16lbs...There the lightest, widest, best looking wheel I could find that didn't break the bank I almost bought CCW's but John was to busy to get to mine so I got the specs from him and found these.

No rolling, no mods, no nothing....I have Coilovers.

They don't rub at all, however, I did have to slightly grind off a metal bur off the front coilover casting, just to be sure it wouldn't rub, but at a stand still it wasn't touching.. The rears fit fine. The fronts are tight, but no rubing to speak of...and I'm an SCCA guy

I know ReTed, you stated that before, but they do fit and don't rub, and thats why I posted that photo so you could see....I'll take some of the 275's soon.

Some tires I know will rub with this setup....I think the blocky tires like the V-700 Victoracers will and some other ones too....But the Corses, P-zero A's and S02's don't. I do know a guy from LA with 245's on all 4's with the right wheel he has...custom of course!

BTW: ReTed I'm the one who e-mailed you today.....You guys have some nice cars there.....anyway

A 235-40-17 will fit on a 17x8 TSW Hokenheim(I think 40mm offset) with 2.5" springs, thats what I sold GNX7, maybe he can measure one. That was with Toyo RA1 tires, you can look up tread/section width, and the diameter . Car was lowered to 24" at the top of the wheel well, worked great. I ran those all the way around. Carl Byck

I wish I could run 245 x 4... that would be well balanced, however I'm pushing the 500rwhp area and the 255's I had wasn't enough traction...

RETed: I should had better explained my setup, but I have the P-Zero A's, and to date there my favorite tires for the street and fit nice with these offsets... There is nothing like Hoosiers for the track and can't be compared to street tires. 17 x 8.5 fit, and you can still run a 235... Personally I didn't notice hardly any difference between a 225 and 235 up front... but the 275's made a big difference, but if you use that size in back the 235's would be better than 225's.
