What is the biggest rim tire setup i can get on a 87 RX-7

I just got a 87 rx-7 with a LT-1 in it and i am taking the motor and everything out and cleaning it up and i am at the point where i need to start seeing how i am gonna get the horse power to the ground...please post what the widest tire i can get on

I assume you mean out back? There are a few guys running 28x9" slicks out back with coilovers and 15x8" rims with 5.5" backspacing.... you can run a 275 out back with the proper offset (15x8 with 5.5" backspacing)

I've run stock T2 rims with Nitto Drag Radial 245/50/16's and achieved 1.71 60ft times and gone mid 11's@114mph.
