weight of a 3rd gen wheel + tire?

weight of a 3rd gen wheel + tire?
What does a stock 3rd gen. and tire weigh? I am trying to figure out how much shipping may cost. Thanks alot.

The flat-spoke-back stock wheels that I weighed were 15.8 lbs each. Add a tire and you'll get weights in the 37-44 lbs range, probably around 41 lbs for the "average" tire.

Ok thanks. 40lbs. is what i was told. I just thought that was kind of high. I guess not. Rubber and air sure are heavy. Anyways thanx.
