Damn, that is super light. For comparison, my track setup (18x10 with 285/30) came in at 46.5 pounds. Nice setup Rishie

Good looking wheels. Good weight. How's caliper clearance? Can you stuff a BBK under these puppies?

They have huge caliper clearance. On a FD they would clear a lot of things other than 14" rotors. They clear stock EVO brembos. The FD can actually run low disk wheels and still clear a lot of bbk out there. This is considered a high disk wheel.

thanks,
Rishie

Think you could get away with that fitment on an FD with a slight front fender roll and 275's at all four corners?

I've seen 18x10 +38 w/ 265's on stock body, so I'd be pretty confident. Especially with the roll.

^^There's no way that would work in the front without eventually lunching the fenders. Rear works fine, I ran that for while with no issues.

I run a 265/35 on an 18x10 +38 and its rubs slightly. The tire is just slightly too tall for the wheel well. I would think a 265/30 might work on the front tho.

This is also street experience, my car has never been on a road course. Rich has a lot of experience with that.

Not nearly enough experience based on my lap times

You'd need a 255/35 in front, 265/30 is a non-existent size AFAIK. Would result in a super skinny sidewall.

with a proper fender roll it may rub some but it shouldn't really do much except polish the paint off inside the well.

i find alot of people don't properly roll their fenders though and it sucks seeing mangled inside lips which usually start to crease the outside of the fenders where people get too cheap or busy to roll them properly.

No, mine hits the bumper/fender mounting tab at certain times when there is a load on that side of the car. Its just too tall of a tire for the front. I agree with Rich that a 255 is a much better option.
