Question Wanna go with 17x10 ??

I've heard of people running 10's without problems but I want to lower my car too. Is that gonna be a problem or would 9.5 be better when I lower it? My wheels are also gonna have a lip so I want the fatest lip possible but my main concern is rubbing.

Also I want to go with the Bridgestone S03's but the widest they come in 17" is a 265. I would like a wider tire then that for traction issues. Will 285 rub?

So what would be a good setup for a lowered FD and best all season tire if I can't run the S03's?

17x10 should not be a problem with the correct offset...285's ought to work also
