Waaaa, saying goodbye...

..to my babies! Sold the Gewalt Evolutions yesterday, along with my other set of 18" Borbets that are leaving latter this week. Waaa! Put my stockers on to keep the chassis off the ground, and man - what a difference. The car looks so plain now. Waaa!

A few last shots before they got wrapped off to be sent to a new home.

Ok, enough grieving, hehe. Now to order new wheels. Really want another set of Gewalts, but they don't have the correct offset for 18X10s for the stock front fenders. Thinking about the FEED wide front fenders, but that notch at the bottom kinda bothers me.

So if I do stick with the stock front fenders, I'm thinking SSR Decolte Evolutions. I had the original Decoltes before, and really miss those!

Here they are on a fellow Houstonian's 7, who I sold them to.

I'm thinking 18X10 +54 front which has a medium disk, and 18X10 +49 rear which has a normal disk, for that all important lip! Otherwise, if I get the FEED wide fenders, I'll probably stick to the Gewalts again.

So where can I get the SSRs from for a good price? Dont say Rishie, cause he doesn't return my PMs begging to send him money and first born, hehe.

Called the place in Hawaii that Jim Swantko got his, and they gave a pretty good price. Any other reputable wheels places?

Damn, didn't you just get those? Was there a reason for selling so quick?

I decided i could not go on living unless I had 18X10s all the way around, hehe. Actually, the plan was to buy new rim halves for the front to make them 18X10, but somebody came along that wanted those exact wheels any ways, and sold them.

Don't get the feed fenders. Look like Sh*t IMO, like a piece is missing...plus the things sticking out in front...not exactly a beautiful melding of form and function.

I'm here and I got your messages, it's just that you know the difficulty of getting the Decoltes and I'm looking into it for another gentleman as well.

I have contacted a friend in Japan and am attempting to see what I can get them for by Mid-march.

Now, please PM me the phone number of the guy in Hawaii. I did get it, but don't want to look through my stack of notebooks.

I'm mainly interested in the total price, after shipping from Hawaii to the mainland.

I've been so busy trying to get all my guys setup over here at the shop that my forum duties have been getting slightly postponed, as well as my memory going haywire. Can't remember head from toe,. I'm so erratic.

I do apologize Daniel and once you PM me the price of those wheels I'll know what I can work with.

Thanks, Rishie

I lose messages in my pile of e-mails and PM's from all my different sources, I'm very sorry. Can always call me, 408-799-6723 cell 408-947-0505 office.

Hehe, the fenders looks ok from some angles (like front 3/4), but not others (rear 3/4). The CF splitters are part of the bumper, and I would be putting a '99 on front anyways. I was thinking of making a panel to make the notch not as obvious.

Maybe the R-Magic fenders then (but they really dont add any width) .... damn, and I sold the Apexi sideskirts I just bought and painted because they will not work with the FEED fenders. Didn't even mount those either.
