Volk SE37K 18X10.5 in the rear? Fitment

I want to put a 18X10.5 Volk SE 37K's in the rear and I was wondering if they would fit without doing anything to the body. What offset do you think will fit the stock wheel well?

10 1/2J š+15, +38 5 114.3 \71,000

thanks

Nope don't believe it would work without mods. Needs to be at least a +45 but even then i don't know. Depends on the tire size you stretch on it.

I don't think a +38 will go.

A 9.5" +38 and a 10.5" +38 are two different things.

I run 18x9.5 volk TE-37s and with 285 30 18 S-03s on the rear ive never had any issues with fitment. Inside and out there is never any rubbing. Its the fronts that are always a hard fit. The rears are easy. I would try and test fit one if I could. I would suggest trying the +38 offset. The +40 may work but i think you may need to go with some thin aftermarket trailing arms to give it a bit more room. The fender shouldnt be an issue. I ran some low springs and the rear still fit on mine no problem.

Herblenny has a 10.5" SSR Competition rear, and he runs a 285/30/18 tire on it. The offset i believe is +43, but i can't remember. He didn't seem to think that a 295/30/18 tire would work w/ out fender rolling.

He wasn't positive, but the fact remains that, for the same brand of tire, a 295 ought to stick out 5mm further (inside and out) off the same wheel than a 285. You're talking about a wheel itself that sticks out 5mm further. I'd say it'll be REAL close, and may even come down to the size and brand of tire you mount on it.

And, if you can't get a 295mm tire on it, i'd say theres no point in running a rim that wide... everything up to 285 will fit nicely on a 10" rim... everything up to 275 on a 9.5" rim.

I am running the 10.5 ssr comps with the 43 offset and a taller 285/35/18 in the michline pilot mercedes spec tire (more like a 32 series). I expected to have to roll the fenders, but no rubbing at all after 200 city miles. I have rotary extreeme trailing arms, toe links and tien flex suspension. But with a 43 offset, inside clearance isn't an issue at all. Backspacing clearance still has 1/4" to 3/8".

No way, no how will a 10.5 +38 fit. I don't think it would fit even with rolled fenders with a 295/30.

For comparison, the outside of that rim is (nominally) 1.75" further out than the stock wheels, and then you've got the additional width of the tire side wall. I don't frigging think so.

You can fit alot more to the outside than you'd think would be possible, but here's 10" +42 w/ a 275/35 tire (and a round-shouldered one at that). Another half inch with less loffset and a bigger tire? Good luck.
