Volk Racing Wheel Question

First of all, I already tried using the search feature.

I am ready to buy some wheels and really like the look of the SE37K and the LE37K.

What is the difference between the SE37K and the LE37K. Is it just the polished lip? Does one weigh less than the other?

Hey, the LE37K is a "dolled up" version of the SE37K. The centers are available as either silver or bronze. The lips are machined for either finish. A fancy center cap comes with the wheel. The S37K is the "all-business" version, and comes as mono-tone only (silver or bronze). SE37 plain center caps are optional. For the LE37K, there is a limitation in size availability...the 9 x 17, 40-mm offset is not available for LE37K. You're stuck with running asymmetric sizes for LE37K, 8.5 wide front, 9.5 wide rear, x 17 or 18 diameters. Offset is 40-mm for either width. I'm not sure if there are any weight differences between SE37K and LE37K. My guess is there isn't much--both will be in the 15.5 to 16.5 lb range for 8.5/9.5 x 17 sizes. Estimate an increase of 1 lb for either width if you're going 18s. FWIW, I'm doing the 9 x 17, 40-mm all around in SE37K, Titanium Silver with 255/40-17 Toyo RA-1 tires.
