Varrstoen 18x9 (Transformation)

I just got these in from Rishie from AutoRnd on tuesday and the flat matte black although nice just didn't work for me and the look I'm wanting with my car so being a painter I decided to paint them. The color I choose was Blue Lagoon. The process was basically taking them down a bit with 800grit, 3 coats of Bulldog adhesion promoter, 6 coats of base and 4 coats of clear. Tires going on tomorrow morning and mounting them on the fc tomorrow night (easier said then done) some decent roll and pull to get these to fit. 18x9 +15

Actually look a little harder my friend the 19's they made were built buy the same factory as Rota. The new 18's were built in europe in a bbs licensed factory. Much better quality and very light 19.8lbs compared to the 19's. Ask rishie at AutoRnd if you would like.

I see your point man but if you have ever talked to him he's a legit guy and knows his ****. I've purchased plenty of parts from him so he has no reason to bullshit me. I'm sure plenty of people here can vouch for that. They are apparently working on 18x10's with lower offsets.

I'll have some up maybe tomorrow or this weekend. That particular blue that the factory provides just didn't appeal to me but they go really well with his car.

Damn that looks GREAT.

Can't wait to see them installed.

FYI in regards to information for manufacturing the correct info is such:

18" wheels made by ASA Factory in Korea. They produce a lot of BBS Licensed wheels.

19" wheels made in CHINA by another Factory. I personally didn't think the quality of finish and weight were anywhere near the Korean made 18" wheels. ASA Factory ftw!!!!!!

I'm not certain but there are other ways to adapt TPMS anyways as a backup. Check out www.tpmssolutions.com.

He RCF,

Do you have the color code? Can you email that to me and tell me brand of paint you used?

Thanks, Rishie
