Tyre recommendation for a 19" staggered set-up

A friend of mine just bought a set of BBS LM reps (I almost bought a set too) but doesn't know what size tyres to use. He has a pair of P-Zero 295/30/19 tyres in his garage but I'm thinking it may be too wide for his application and possibly rub.

He told me his wheel specs are:
19x8.5 +35 (F)
19x9.5 +35 (R)

I told him something like 235 (F) 295 (R) will have a negative effect on overall balance and handling of his car and I'm not sure what sizes will rub and what sizes won't. What size tyres should he buy? I am thinking 235/35 (f) and 265 or 275/30 (r).

Some pics of his car and wheels:

275/30 and 235/35 should do it. Might be able to squeeze 255/30 up front. You'll need a fender roll up front for sure.
