because enkei's website it worthless for info like that
the 9" and wider wheels will have the more concave look to them, narrower than 8" and i think they get ugly. people think the concavity of a wheel is due to offset, which its not, its usually how wide the wheel is.

sometimes concavity is due to a wide wheel with a low offset (like +15 or +20, etc) and there are some versions of the RPF1 for instance that are made specifically for front fitment and have more outward (convex) spoked to clear big brembo brakes like on 350Z or STIs, etc.

Rishies will know for sure, there are pics online here of his white widebody FC with them in dorifto stretch fitment and the cars stance is wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide and they looked pretty concave

Right on. These wheels look better with a wider width, and with that said you get the better looking face. SBC for the ballers*

Here you go: XX x 9.5

So basically it all depends on the size you get.

Some are concave others are not. Depends on offsets and widths. I know all that info.

I am using RPF1 17 x 9 +45 in front and had to fit 5mm spacers to get about 2mm clearance over the '99 Spec RZ Brake Calipers. Do you know if these wheels come in a different dish configuration such that I could do away with the spacers.

You would have to use the 17x9 +35 it appears to retain the concave or matching front to rear faces.

Anything thinner than 9" will be adequate for "BBK". 9" and wider gives concave face.

Since you only need 2mm the next lowest offset in the 9" is the +35 and that would allow for it to happen.

I am sure the 18x9.5 setup would clear the 99 specs.

anyone have an opinion or an idea on the perfect offset for rpf1s 17x9 front and 17x10 rear? trying to get a wide sick stance.

if you dont mind playing with your fenders, they come in low offsets.
17x9 +22 and 17x10 +18

I have the standard offsets in stock that you would want to run but you will need to get a Brake Clearance diagram for the brembos so I can verify they will clear.

If you want to retain stock fenders up front but require roll in the rear your only option is

17x9 +45 and 17x10 +38.

If you want that stretched tire look then you're better off going with 17x9.5 +18 and 10 +18.

Hit me up once you collect the diagram and i'll price it out.

cool i appreciate that gentlemen.....ill prob go super low offset if it looks clean.....me and my buddy can always fender roll...hopefully with all that done it wont be a problem to drift or take from the turning radius.

Julian,

I think most people use the 18" RPF1 to clear BBKs. The new 17" Enkei model that Rishie has gets around this issue since it offers more clearance. I think it is the PF01...

Nope sorry A, they do not. The only way would be to run the 17x9 +35 offset. That will give you 10mm more caliper clearance so you won't need the spacer.

The new PF01 only goes 8.5" wide in 17" currently. That's the only downside.

well it sucks cause im stuck in a tight space and im gonna have to compromise somewhere.....i really want rpf1s 17s with enough offset to clear bbks but without spacers cause putting spacers is not very good for drifting and i dont wanna go so low offset i have to completely roll fenders.......guess the safest bet would be go 18s low offset no spacers and round +30 in the front and +25 in the rear????

stealth,

I want you to know that two wheels of the same offset and size can have differing brake caliper clearance.

Therefore you can find a high offset wheel for stock fenders to clear BBK in 17". The sacrifice is likely to be, losing lip or having a flatter/convex face. The issue with the higher offset RPF1 is actually the location of the drop center due to it's concave design in the 9" and wider sizes.

However, by utilizing the lower offsets such as +18 or +22 you will be able to clear a BBK because it's pushing that outer drop center further away from the caliper.

I thought this might be helpful for you. Worst case i can always measure the Stoptech template with the low offset RPF1 in 17".

Rishie

thank you very much, so after thinking it out for a while and asking around so more im going with the 17x9 +22 in the front and 10 +18 in the rear and if i switch out the brakes later on then ill just sell these and buy the new size to fit the new case. is there anyway way you could find a solid price on those measurements in either SBC or black? cause i found a huge range of prices from dirt cheap to very expensive? appreciate the help and advice
