I have a 93 FD.

I am having trouble fitting the mazda tophat and bushing on the tokico illuminas.

The centering bushing doesnt slide down onto the shock. The flat spot gets in the way.

Do i need a tokico specific part to get it to fit?

 

Probably have to drill out the hole to make it bigger. That is what you need to do on the Koni.

 

You need to drill it out, as stated in the assembly instructions.

 

Ok that is what i was going to do.

Got them slightly used so didn't get the install instructions.

Interesting, mine didn't have any issues, but I did buy them used...
