My suspension is shot to ****, so im about to purchase the tokico illumina 5 way adjustables, and i want to make sure thats a good idea.

My fd is a daily driver, its not a track car. Ive found them for about $380 for all 4, i just want to make sure that im going in the right direction.

I had a set a couple of years ago on my 240Z and I loved them. I have not upgraded my fc yet, but that is the route I am going to go when it comes time to buy some struts.

They're good shocks, very stout. Since they're adjustable you can have your valving set fairly soft for every day driving and you can change it to suit your driving style. $380 for all four? That's one heck of a deal, I say go for it.

cool thanks. FYI that price was on ebay and shipping is free. Most of the online websites sell anywhere from the 400 and 500$ range.

i have the illumina's on my fc with eibach springs and holy **** what a difference over stock stuff, you will love them, i know i do.

The fd im picking up next week has the illuninas, I didnt care for them too much. I guess they would be great for daily driving but im gonna take em off and go with a set of coilovers.

You can't equally compare a set of shocks only to a complete set of coilovers. That's apples and oranges. That's like saying "I drove the Yugo and didn't care for it. I'm going to buy me a FD".

Im not comparing shocks to full coilovers. I am simply stating the fact that I personally do not like shock and spring combos, or shocks and coilover sleeves with the only height adjustment being the perches themselves. What I will compare later is the difference between certain coilovers and hopefully I can get some good info from this site. Im sorry if my wording confused you.
