Buddy of mine used to have Federals on his NA, seemed really good actually, he had pretty good traction even in the wet, and when dry they were great.

I'm a dunlop and pirelli guy...when I got my meaty 235/45/17's for my FCI was budgeting (got wheels at the same time) so I went with sumitomo (they make dunlop) HTRZ II's. In the past I had 225/50/16 SP8000's (loved them) and even D40M2's (old school). for my GVR4 I run pirelli Pzero asymetricos. we used these on our GC8 body WRX and our S130 ZX turbo with great success - they can be a bit noisy but DAMN do they grip!!!

Pirelli or Michelin's if you could afford them.

I'm running yokohama avs es 100 they're pretty good but if I could afford pirelli's those would be my first choice.

Actualy those are nice tires, I had them right before these I have now, great traction all year round.
I noticed that they are much better in cold weather than my Yoko's, exept for wet roads.

SP9000's are only good in the first year. Then they get hard and give poor grip.
