which Tires and Suspension do I get?

which Tires and Suspension do I get?

I am planning on just running at around 350rwhp..

I really cant decide they're so many options... This car will be a daily driver so I need the best type of tires that will perform best in all situtions. I know that rain tires will perform alot better in rain but i want a tire that is Ok in all situations!

What car do you have? What wheel size? Milage expectations? Budget? What are your priorities for tire performance and what's the intended uses of the car? Know of any tire brands that are unavailable where you are?

Knowing this makes reccomending tires easier and more useful, otherwise it's pretty much just a stab in the dark.

RSR Race Springs might be too stiff for Brazil's roads, but I agree with everything else. I might even stick with stock springs on the Konis. If you want to lower the car, you can set the Konis at the middle spring perch.


Aonde estas no Brasil? Es Carioca, Paulista, Mineiro...?

For a daily driver I recommend Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. It's outstanding in rain and very good in the dry.

I've driven a little bit in Sao Paulo, and I sure as hell wouldn't want any kind of race spring or damper unless I could soften it up for street driving. Same with the tires - something super grippy could be irritating to keep pointed in a straight line.

The Koni's are adjustable. I'm not sure if they adjust as easily as the Tokicos. I just know I went with Tokico's and now regret not ponying up for the Koni's in the first place. Not that Tokico's are bad, but the Koni's would fit more into what I do with the car.

I have a thing against Goodyear tires. IMO, they are overpriced POS. If you live in a rainforest, I would suggest them as nobody does rain like they do, but other than that; I would pick the crappiest tire out their before one of theirs.

Then I hope this isn't a winter daily driver. That would flip this thing on its head.

BTW Mahjik the F1 GS-D3 is produced in Germany, and is IMO an excellent tire. Perhaps that exonerates this particular model from the curse you have on all the other Goodyears

^^I agree on both counts - especially the Goodyear comment.

Nothing will work great in all weather patterns.

I like the Kumho MXs or Toyo T1Rs for driving around CT area. Both tires have good grip and are good in the wet. You can run 245/46/16s on the stock wheels w/o any problems.

Some of the Dunlops aren't bad either like the Sport Maxx or whatever its called.

Stay away from snow unless you have dedicated snow tires - and big enough ***** to drive an FD in snow.

What's the wheel size? Not all tires are available in all sizes.
