tire suggestions

i got some 15x7 old enkei mesh rims and need some new tires. i'm not sure about the offset, but it came off a TII like mine with some 205/60/15 tires on them. i was thinking about some 215/60/15 tires, or even 225/50/15 ones all around...

i don't plan to do racing or anything, but i do want good control and handling and perhaps some mild fishtailing

any suggestions? and how big of a height difference is 50 and 60 series?

Ur best bet is to just go to a random tire dealer like Goodyear and talk tire size. U want to try to stick with the same overall diameter as the stock tires. I have the same style wheels with 195/50 15 tires on them. They r pretty close to the overall dia of a set of 205/60's on a set of stock 13 wheels. This keeps the speedometer accurate.

That 50 and 60 is the "aspect ratio", it determines the sidewall height as the percentage of the tread width in mm. A 205/60 tire has a tread width of 205mm and a sidewall height of 123mm(60% of 205). A 225/55 15 will give u bout the same overall dia as a 205/60 15. The 225/55 has a sidewall height of 123.75mm.
