Tire size recommendation for stagger 17/18?

I need a tire size recommendation for a 17/18 stagger setup. Current setup is:

Front: 17" x 8" with 205/40-17
Rear: 18" x 9" with 225/40-17

Here's a picture of my 87 FC Coupe:

I would love a good recommendation for this, this is going to be a street car, but good traction for mountain driving. This is also car driving in San Diego, California, where roads aren't the greatest in some places.

What are the offsets on the wheels? This will help us determine tire sizes thatll fit well. Ideally Id do a 255/235 stagger.

Honestly I have no idea what the wheel offset is, the wheels came with the car.

Is there a label or stamping anywhere on the wheel, perhaps on the inside of the barrel?

I'll let you know tomorrow when I get the wheel off.
