tire size for best fitment?

well the time for new tires is coming around very soon. so i was wondering what tire sizes would be the best.

as of right now i have volk gt-n's in

18x8 with a 37 offset in the front . i currently have a 225/35/18 tire on the front and i dont like how small the tire is . i was thinking of going up in size to a 245

would that be a good size and what would be the exact dimensions of the tire.
245/??/??

my fenders are somewhat rolled so i dont think i would have a problem

18x10 in the rear .. but i have a 275/35/18 on there right now with no issues at all. so im set with that rim

i have 17x8+30 mustang wheels and i am using 245/45/17. because they are so wide i have to run a 10mm spacer to jsut make the front tyres not hit the coils. with a +37 offset on a 245 i think you are going to run into some trouble unless you run a 15mm spacer in teh front.

in the rears there is tons of room and there is no need to run aspacer whatsoever.

i would suggest running a 235/40/18

It would be helpful if you listed what kind of car you have....

225/35 18 is the wrong size for an RX-7....proper sizes for that 8" rim would be 225/40 or 235/40.

The biggest tire you should run on that front is 235/40 18. If your fenders aren't rolled...you'll probably catch the lip -- your wheels have low offsets.

In back, you can also run a 285/30.
