tire rub

i recently installed my new suspension from racing beat. front and rear sway bars and springs, front sway bar reinforcement, and tokico shocks. yesterday i found my front right wheel well lip pulled out. my rims and tires match factory specs. does any one have the same package or similar and does it rub?
thank for any help you can give.

I have RSR springs and everything else is the same, I get rub also but only if I hit a bad pothole.I can take some pretty nasty dips with no problem.I think you can take out the plastic in the wheel well and rub it down a bit, but not sure.

Most people end up rubbing with the RB Springs, they are lower without increasing the spring rate a lot. Use a spring with a higher spring rate and it will help.

Out of curiousity, what rims and tires are you running?

If you've got a lowered FD, and particularly a lowered FD with aftermarket wheels and tire, you've gotta roll the fenders.

AFAIK,
Enkei's aren't avalaible in +50 offset, so that's one factor. The second is, a 235/45/17 tires are taller than 225/50/16's. Not much, but it doesn't take much when combined with what are probably lower offset wheels.

+38 offset, 235/45 tires, RB lowering springs = catching fender lip

You also have to be careful entering angled drives...with any lowering.

i was going change my rear rims, and go alittle wider 17x9 . it looks like i will have to change fronts also to stop the rub. everyone seems to go with 18's, but i dont mind 17's. can anyone recommend a good set up for my fd, size, offset, brand, any info would be helpful.
thanks

A little more info would be helpful:

* Money to spend (with or without tires)
* Use of the rims (street, road course, autox, combination of those)

As far as offset, in the front I would make sure that you have at least a +43 if you want to avoid rubbing problems. In the rear, you can usually get a little more aggressive with maybe a +38 as the lowest there. Of course, those also depend on the tire sizes you plan to use.

Ok, how much do you plan to spend on just the wheels alone?

no set price, i know you get what you pay for but the more if cost the longer it takes to save up for them. i payed $1400.00 for the wheels and tires i have now and i know it will cost a little more to upgrade.

If you can manage it, I'd get your front fenders rolled regardless.

Well, you'll have to make the call but here's a few to consider:

CCW's
Volks CE28N's
5Zigen FN01R-C
5Zigen Pro Racer GN+

The inner lip which your wheel keeps catching, it rolled closer to the inner fender. I had mine pressed to the inner fender so nothing will catch any more.
