tire rack now carries gram lights!!!!

My buddy got his Tire Rack "Inside Track 2005" catalog and it looks like Tire Rack will now carry Gram Lights!!! I guess that means everybody will soon have the 57 Pros. Anyways, the wheels are not available yet, so I called Tire Rack and they don't know when they will be available nor could they give me any price information. If anybody has any insider info, I would be very interested to hear it.

Also, it looks like SSR has a new wheel out, even though I just read that they are now bankrupt. That's very disappointing, cause I really liked their wheels.

I thought everybody already had 57 Pros.

SSR wheel looks cool, but heavy (24.3 lbs in 18x8.5). Unfortunate that Tire Rack's SSR collection is offered in very limited widths/offsets.

I thought everybody was waiting for 57 Pros. We'll have to wait and see if Tire Rack can deliver them faster than the 2-3 months which seem to be the norm. Plus, Tire Rack is reputable dealer that usually has fair prices on most items.

How many gazzillion sets of wheel would Volk have already sold in the U.S. if:

1. They had anything resembling a decent dealer network, or had sold through big shops like the tire rack, who could afford to keep them in stock, and preventing 3 month waiting times for a set of @#$%ing wheels to get here. It's a joke.

2. Didn't create an asthetic catch-22 with virtually every wheel they make where, it either doesn't come in the offset/width you need, or if it does it only comes in f-ed up colors like white, bronze or *blue*, the cool "special" color you want (that actually looks good) doesn't come in the size you want, or if all those things worked out for you, they drilled in that fabulous 9-hole universal lug look. Bleck.

Ok, flame off... forgive me its past my bed time.

Now wouldn't that be ironic if you put your order in through Tire Rack, and they tell you to wait 3 months like everybody else?!
