OH Tire Rack is no help finding wheels, Maybe it's me.

I just bought a 1989 GXL, all stock, low miles. I can't find any decent Turbo II wheels out there so I'm looking at Enkei RPF1s 16x7 to go with the stock suspension. The Enkei website says they have or build 16x7 with +43 inset or +35 inset. The Tire rack website tells me there are no Enkei wheel that will fit my car, yet it says there are 17x7.5 wheels that do fit. weird. Connor, can you help?

I went 17x8 and 9 with a +35 offset RPF1s for my FC. The wheels fit and looked great...no rubbing or anything and my fenders were all stock, as in not rolled or pulled. Here's a pic:

...and no, it's not you about TireRack. Great place to buy tires, but IMO, there are better places to get your wheels. I bought mine from Rishie and AutoRnD. He's the resident FC wheel guru and a really cool, easy guy to deal with.

You car looks perfect. That's what I want. But is your suspension stock? Looks like it lowered. What tire sizes are those? I'm getting old, I bought wheels from Rishie 10 years ago. smh Thanks Natey

Lowered on HKS coilovers, but I got the wheels before the suspension, so I know they'll fit with stock stuff.

It's been awhile, but I'm 99% sure the tires were 235 and 245/40-17s BFG KDWs

Congrats on the S5 BTW. Nice low mile ones are getting harder and harder to find.

Tire Rack is horrible at selling people who know what spec wheel they want wheels.

If you know the wheel manufacturer and spec you want the best idea is to type that information into google search to see who has them in stock.

"Enkei RPF1 16x7 +43 5x114.3"
Boom!
Amazon $203ea w/ free shipping
Ebay $220ea w/ free shipping

Or contact an Enkei distributor...

I bought mine from Rishie and AutoRnD. He's the resident FC wheel guru and a really cool, easy guy to deal with.

I have also bought my wheels from Rishie when I didn't know exactly what I wanted and when I knew exactly what I wanted and he provided great service and price.

Don't support the Tire Rack who has set-up their wheel selling business only for people who don't know what wheel spec they want.

Thanks Natey for the help. Yea it's hard to find a good rx7 these days with the crazy high prices they are asking. I've only seen pictures of my new purchase but it looks super clean. Hopefully I don't get a bad surprise. You learn after a while what to look for in the pics but you still never know until you there. It's tornado silver with burgundy velour interior. haha I'm usually a white or red paint guy but this will be my second silver rx7 with burgundy interior. I'm really liking that combo.

Lol Thanks Blue TII. Looks like I'm not great at finding wheels or good prices. That's ok, my Wife thinks I am. lol I'm now thinking about Nateys set up. I like that beefy look but I'm not sure I want to lower the car. My old back can hardly take the cincinnati **** roads as it is.
