Yokohama’s ADVAN Neova AD07
Stakes Its Claim in the
Max Performance Summer Tire Category

As part of the ADVAN family of performance street tires, the Japanese market has had the ADVAN Neova AD07 for a short while, but it was not available in North America until it debuted as an Original Equipment fitment on the Lotus Elise in the late fall of 2004. The summer of 2005 sees the ADVAN Neova size lineup expand with a complement of additional sizes for the variety of true performance sports cars. Motorsports enthusiasts may know that the ADVAN name has quietly been in the US for some time, found on the side of Yokohama’s racing slicks and their DOT-approved track-day tires, the ADVAN A-032R and ADVAN A-048. While the A-032R and A-048 tires are road-worthy, they are not really intended for regular street duty.
To find out just how capable the ADVAN Neova is, The Tire Rack team conducted a Real World Road Ride and Performance Track Drive to compare the ADVAN Neova with several popular Max Performance tires that focus on max handling and dry traction, the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KD and the KUMHO ECSTA MX.

Wow....quietest, softest riding, and better grip in the dry and the wet. It doesn't get much better than that! Too bad tires for my car would be over $1k/set. Too rich for my blood....
