Front suspension lower arm removal

I have searched and did not find anyone with this problem so feel a bit stupid asking this.

I got a 92 R1 with Mazdaspeed coilovers. I got a set of Jimlabs bushes, and 6 new pillowballs. I want to change everything out so the ride is back to how it should be.

I have removed the upper/lower arms, trailing arm and toe link for the rear, but at the front have run into a problem.

I managed to remove the upper arm at the front, and all the bolts/nuts needed. But the bolt pointing upwards at the end of the lower arm is stuck tight in the assembly which has the hub on it. (This is the bult which had a nut with split pin in it.

Only after getting this problem have I seen in the service manual that mazda say use their SST to get this out. Can anyone help me on this?

Thanks

You need a balljoint splitter. Available at any auto parts store.
