(the XXR962) is +40 offset bad ? would i need to do something to make it better ? and what would the lip size take effect in this equation x_x .. sorry if this is to noob for someone to answer but i really need to understand this xD thanks in advance guys =]

Those wheels are too narrow Get at least an 8 inch wide wheel! +30 offset should be enough, not too aggressive, not too tame.

+40 on a 7" wide wheel is stock offset for a TII
I have ran the stock tII wheels with 225's on them with a 32mm spacer (this lowers the offset and drives the wheel out towards the fender more) which makes it +8 offset and they fit nicely with coilovers and a good alignment for autox (~2* negative camber)
try this site:

arm yourself with a tape measure and go for it
