Tire Help: Just got 18x9 + 18x10 Gram Light 57 Pros

Hey guys... I made the big plunge and got some rims for my car in order to clear the 13" AP's up front and add some better looks to the car at the same time. I got the anthracite center with polished lips 18x9 +40 and 18x10 +38 Gram Light 57 Pros for my silver '93 FD.

Here is the plan:
Toyo T1-S's are well priced, light, and offer good performance for daily driving.

255/35/18 up front $170 each 25" tall and 23.8lbs

275/35/18 out back $190 each 25.3" tall and 25.6lbs

Can anyone offer some insight to how these will fit and maybe other tire brands/options? I felt they weren't that tall and should work out fine. I don't really want to "slam" my car to the ground as this will be a street car that sees lot of track days.

S-03's in 255/35/18 and 285/30/18 sizes are $268 more expensive which I'd rather put the money elsewhere. I don't plan on driving insane on the street... just some spirited corners and coast driving.

I plan to get a set of 18x10 CCW's for track use and dedicated slicks down the line as my ultimate plan (25.5x11.5x18 used slicks from CCW $75). Is this slick too tall for up front? I can always get the Hoosier R3S04 285/30/18 instead.

I hope to have the car on the road before the end of 2004 and do one NASA HPDE day before the end of the season.

Thanks in advance,

-Mark

Toyo T1S are 25.6" overall diameter for 275/35/18:

If you've kept your ABS, then you want to try to keep the diameter as close as possible. From what I've more or less consistently heard, around 3% difference is what you want to keep this difference below, and the above combo should be ok.

Peter- I'm going with the 255 and 275 T1-S's as initially posted. What kind of wear mileage are you getting out of them?

i'm running falken gr beta 451's in 255/35 and 285/30 with the same wheels. the fit is perfect. i think the rears are .2 inches smaller overall than the fronts. they are rated identical to the toyos and can be had pretty cheap through discount tire direct
