tire and fender flare help!?!

my 93 FD is at the body shop now and its gonna cost $500 to mold on some rear fender flares. now, i dont know if i really need them or not. my question is. i will be running 275/35/19 tires in the rear and need to know if i can run this size tire without doing anything to the rear fenders so they dont scrub or should i put the flares on? the rims will be 19x9.5 or 19x10 quick help will be appreciated. thanks

You are going to need the flares for a +24 10" wide rim (unless you want to look gangsta!).

What kind of rear flares are they? Ones like the Pettit require cutting which removes the problem you are thinking about.

IIRC, those aren't all that big. You can probably just roll the fender and then add on the flare.

That's an interesting setup. To be honest, I don't think I've seen anyone run a similar setup on the FD. I would personally prefer to have a larger offset up front than the rear; rather than the other way around. I would highly suggest you look for some different rim.

You could always get them and see if they work and give you the look you want. If they don't work for you, you could put them back up on eBay.

+1, i have 19x9 on a 255/30/19 on a +46 offset and barely clear and thats with wide front fenders. Im having problems with it hitting the wheel well actually, anyways i dont think that your combination will work, sorry.
