Think i just made a mistake on my alignment.

Just did an alignment at a shop, i had the specs from Pettit's alignment but somehow i think both me and the mechanic must have read something wrong. here's my result:

Front Rear

Caster 5,3 - Equal left to right

Toe 0 0

Camber -0,36 -1,36 Equal left to right
---------------------------------------------------------------
Pettit's:

Caster 6 -

Toe 0 0

Camber -0,8 0

I have 18" wheels on btw.

If i'm nopt mistaken my car should understeer as it is now, or am i wrong?

Yes, will understeer. Pettit's specs are way too conservative for 18" wheels.

For my daily driven car that sees regular track duty (with 18" wheels):

front:

7* caster, 1/32" toe-in, -1* camber

rear:

0" toe-in, -0.5* camber

These are still pretty conservative settings that should keep treadlife reasonable.

I'm lucky they said that i can come in and re-align for free if it won't work good.
I hate understeer, my car was understeering before and now my camber is greater.

Tomorrow i'm heading for the track, i will see how it goes, hopefully i won't eat up my tires too much.
