Tell me if either of these offsets will work for 18's on a FD..

I was looking at purchasing a set of rims, well in the next month or so and it seems that I can only get them in half sizes which means 18x8.5 and 18x9.5. These are for a FD by the way. At any rate they are Manaray's but it seem the website only lists a choice of 35 or 45 offset for both the 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 .. Which offsets would work better on which??? Will these offsets work at all on a FD?? They are at a great price so I was thinking of trying to swing a set, I don't want to get an offset that won't work and have my car to look funny.... Rishie can you help me?? Anyone else??

Choose the 45 mm offset for both sizes. 35 mm will push the wheels too far outboard--No front clearance from the front fender lip, and goofy looking in the back!

He's right once again. That should be a nice fitment actually. You should not rub on the front fenders at all, based on conventional width and profile.

I'll THIRD that response...35 is too little...45 is much much better.. I have 18x9 and 18x10 with 50mm offset..and the tuck is great

Well you could show your gratitude by purchasing your wheels and tires from Rishie, especially if you live in So Cal. He's done a good job for those who've worked with him (Max Cooper and our own Rx7 Forum Leader, Ryan Scott).
