Tein SS coilovers

I'm no expert on coilovers, so I need some advice. About to pick up a set of these for $1500 used, Includes pillowball mounts. Guy had them on for 2 years and estimates the mileage at 40-50k km's. Retail for the setup is $2000 no tax's. Good deal? I'm thinking its a little steep, I would say they should be priced at $1200.

My BIG question is how long do tein's usually last for? I can't find any answers anywhere.

Stance is actually better? My original plan was to get stance brand new, but then I found the opportunity for these. I'm not looking to spend more then $1.5k on coilovers.

I'm assuming that CAN dollars? If it's not coming with the EDFC, that price is too high for those used. It seem the FC Tein SS retail right now for around $1400 USD without the EDFC.

Thats right CAN dollars. $2k for the setup brand new is US, with pillowball mounts. The setup does not come with the EDFC.

While I don't know the prices of FC pillow mounts, I doubt they would be $700 (to make the setup $2000 USD):

^^ Thats a pretty damn low price.

The price for pillowball mounts is $260 for fronts, and $220 for rears.

There you go. His price for those items used is too high. If he won't budge in his price, but the stuff new.
