tein flex's vs ra's for fc

i know there is a lot of information for fd's on this subject, or flex's vs he's, or even flex's alone for the fc's, trust me, ive spent the last couple hours searching. but...not many people run ra's i guess. the main thing is, the spring rates between the two. my brother has flex's on his fd and the spring rates are 559/447 lbs inch. now you look at the fc's and its only 335/280...basically the lowest spring rate out of all the flex applications made. why is it so low? i dont really want to get sd's or he's because i dont want anything to do with drifting. its mostly street, maybe track in the long run. and i know most of you are going to say why the heck dont u just go with another brand? i have backup and support around me for tein...even deals. ok....back on track. i look at the ra's then for an fc and the spring rates go up to the same thing as the fd's flex's, 559/447. we dont live really in the city with nice as hell roads or anything but they are still fine around here. it all depends on where you go (live in the country kind of). with those springs rates on my brothers fd, it seemed just perfect here. it didnt seem to punishing on the suspention. so...what do i go for? flex's or ra's? i really know much about adv/dis between their twin and mono tube designs. twin seems like it would be a better choice anyways (which is the flex) just because of the fact that im not on a track with smooth surface. the next main thing for me is the ride height. flex's is independant adjustability while ra's is not. flex has got me big there. i honestly would rather have the flex's a lot more, but the spring rates question me with why they are so low. im done rambling now though...i just want some peoples opinions if they have either of the two, or jsut have thoughts on it.

The Tein FLEX models are on the softest side in terms of spring ratings.
These are really meant for street use.

The Tein RA's are basically track-only use.
Think if them are RA(ce).

You really cannot compare FC spring rates versus FD spring rates, because of strut (FC) versus double-wishbone (FD).
The ratios of the damper travel versus wheel travel also plays into this.

An FC running 400 in-lb springs is probably equivalent to an FD running around 550 - 600 in-lb springs.
