tein basic coilovers (reviews and comments)

hows it going. alright im in the market again for another coilover system. i dont need anythign crazy or even a coilover system. currently i have hks hyper dampers on the car. i was debating between koni yellows and the basic coilover. the reason is price. i might as well get the teins cause im able to do more for the same amount of money as the konis.

does anyone run tein basic coilovers or give me any pointers?

thanks

really even with the spring rate being 671 front and 559 rear? are they better than say the stock r1 set up? i would imagine so, but with these coilovers being the basic model im flustered.

thanks

I'm running D2's with 600 (11kg) front and 500 (9kg) rear...and it's by no means soft. I don't really know anything about the Tein Basic system, but i wouldn't go any firmer than what i have for street use. It's not harsh, but i wouldn't want much stiffer unless i spent most of my time on the track.

It's the damping that matters.
