I bent my stock sway bar and it is time to replace with a upgrade which one do u guys prefer.I am not looking to spend a lot of money for one

I was gonna get the racing beat but i am not sure if they come with the sway bar mounts.Does anyone know if they come with it.

I've seen the cusco one and it looks really good. It's got a nice polished finish and looks very solid. I think it might be on the pricey side though.

I just got my Addco front sway bar from Summit yesterday, looks good but I haven't had time to put it on yet. You should base your decision on what you plan to do with the car, myself..the car is a street car so I didn't want a huge front sway bar that would be uncomfortable as well as useless on the street. Check out scuderiani's site for sway bar info.. I'd give you some feedback on the Addco but I haven't put it on yet. It is supposed to be 40% stiffer than stock (same diameter as stock, just solid instead of hollow), uses the stock mounts as well.. I am installing it with the Racing Beat reinforcement bar as well. Ask in the suspension section, those guys can help you more than I can.

As was posted earlier, it really depends on what you plan to do with your car. If you NEVER plan to run open-track events, high speed drivers eds, or autocrosses, then stay with the stock sway bars...

IF you like to run mountain roads every weekend, but have no plans to do track events, you might consider bars from Racing Beat, Suspension Techniques, and Eibach. Please note that sway bars, shocks, and coil springs work synergistically TOGETHER as a SYSTEM, so sway bars alone will not decrease the body roll inherent in hard cornering.

Your BEST investment might be in upgrading your tires to something like Bridgestone S-03s or Pirelli P-Zeros. The rubber-to-road contact patch--more than anything--increases the mechanical grip of the car on the road!

For a racing or track car, the suspension changes in shocks, springs, sway bars, change the car's handling "feel". Each driver has a specific feel that s/he goes for. The track suspension engineer's job, is to adjust the "feel" to suit the driver's liking in order for the driver to turn his/her absolute fastest laptimes. In the case of a road car, the suspension engineer tunes more toward safety rather than toward ultimate speed. This is why all cars that come from the factory have mild understeer already dialed in.

The only reason why i am getting a new front sway bar because mine is bent to hell and so is the sway bar mounts.

...and how did you bend the front sway bar and the sway bar mounts? did you bottom the front suspension out, and slam the front end down on the pavement chasing Steve McQueen's Bullit Mustang through the streets of San Francisco??

I just installed my Pettit Front Sway Bar last night!
I think Addco makes it - Same dia. as stock, just solid not hollow... I've only had the opportunity to drive it to work today. But So far it's exactly what I wanted: Almost NO body roll at all(FLAT TURNS!)... Very responsive steering inputs - turn-in... Doesn't make the ride harsh at all...

I have yet tpo install my read Tri-point sway bar...I might end up selling it.

No pics, But you can get some more meaningful information from steve cirian's site. I forgot the url. It has a comparison table of all the sway bars, stating the thickness, hollow or solid, etc...adjustable or fixed, stiffness, blah blah blah...

We also offer the Addco 1.125" bar with the urethane kit for $145.00 plus shipping to the forum guys. They also produce a rear bar as well. Let me know if we can help. I've heard good things about this bar on the FD. BATMAN uses them from what I understand.

I bent the sway bar mount and the links not the mounts my mistake.I was thinking about going with the racing beat sway bar just because it is cheaper.Rishie, does the addco sway bar mount come with the links as well as does the racing beats too.

The sway bar will not come with sway bar endlinks. Those you must replace from the factory or get stronger aftermarket ones. It will come with urethane bushings and upgraded sway bar mounts.

Let me know if I can help. I can order those links from MAzda and send either bar to you as well. The Addco bar is definitely a solid bar. Haven't had an opportunity to compare the two head to head.
