Suspension for FC

I have been looking around, and it's between the Tein RA and the HKS Hiper Max II. Anyone that has anything to say regarding this, please do. Will be appreciated.

You're asking us to pick either an apple or an orange. The HKS coilovers are sprung and valved less agressively than the Tein RA's. The RA's are a more circuit-racing oriented coilover setup, with stiffer spring rates, and a harsher ride. Think about what you're going to do more, drive on the track or on the street, then make your decision. In terms of quality, the Tein RAs are known to be nearly the best you can buy.

I have the Tein Super Streets on my FC ( a little lower model then yours)

and full drop and full stiffness even with the original 17yr old bushings and no strut bars on bald tires... the car rides on rails!

difference is huge...

BUT on the street.. over bumps i literally FLY outta my seat and hit my head on the roof sometimes...

careful what u wish for, cuz u just might get it

Thanks for the feedback. I pretty much want to make the car for circuit racing, planning to go all out. I tried to buy the Tein RA from RotaryExtreme.com but it seems as if they don't have any more, and they said that it's been discontinued I will search around to see if I can find some more though. Thanks.

At any rate, buying coilover springs that don't increase spring preload when you lower your car, with inverted monotube shocks that are specifically valved for the spring rates are going to be expensive. It IS overkill for the street, and yes, people do buy them just because they're JDM mad tyte yo, but they do have their advantages on the track.
