Suspension bushings for an 88 T2
anyone know a dealer that sells a complete set of major bushings w/o ripping your off?
i know Energy Suspension sells a complete kit for the FC. i found them on summitracing.com @ $91 but they are on backorder. some other places i found are much more expensive. is there a better alternative??? my 14yr old bushings are about to go!!
thanks!!

I have ordered from the Suspension Restoration guys twice and if you call before 3pm PST they ship the same day. I received my parts the next day...... but I am only a few hundred miles away.
I ordered Energy Suspension polyeurathane bushings for the front control arms, front sway bars, front ball joints, rear sway bars, rear control arms.

I also ordered rear toe eliminator bushings which made a more predictable 100% at edge handling characteristics. I would suggest getting these if you drive hard.
Here's where I got mine: http://www.k2rd.com
I also got my coilover setup from K2RD.com and am very pleased with it. Price was great and 1st time installing it posed no problems whatsoever.

about those bushings
I have the full Energy Suspension bushings in my 90 GTU and love the way the enhance the car's feel on SMOOTH surfaces. I live in SF in the city and it can be harsh sometimes but still it is worth it. I also go the Rear Toe Eliminator and it is a very important upgrade if you like to push it. The Bushings were cheap but the labor was like 4 hours or sumthin.
