Suspension advice

Hi
I am looking for some new suspension. I have a standard R1 setup at the moment although it is not set up well. I am looking for something that will be mostly used on the street with some track days. I don't want the set-up rock hard or to jump over bumps as I am getting now. I have been looking at the HKS Hypermax and the JIC FLT-A2 kits. Anyone have experience of these. Which will offer the best compromise of comfort and performance on a day to day basis. The JIC drops the car 1-2" from the lit. Is this a problem on 17" rims? Any other suggestions?
Thanks
Martin

JIC USA is the only jdm company to engineer USDM specific set ups. So they should give you the best ride of all JDM coil overs.
