Question Strut Bar Removal?

If I remove the front strut bar in my engine bay, do I need to get realigned? I know some porsche's are like this, never thought about the FD.

Thanks in advance,

The FD will be fine. If the car uses a strut type suspension then I could see needing an alignment though.

No alignment required. If you remove the strut bar, you will lose some of the rigidity that it provides the front end. Steering input will be a little more vague. The front end will feel "looser".

I don't recommend removing it unless other mods force you to take it out.

Thanks.

I just take it out for maintenance and removal of certain parts. I was changing the clutchline over the weekend and bleeding brakes (with a porsche guy). he was a lot of help, but asked about my alignment after removing that strut bar.

I uncertainly replied, "I think I'm ok". I hadn't felt any difference in steering previously and had never read anything about it here.

My comments above only apply during medium to hard cornering. Straight line driving and easy cornering will be uneffected.
