Jacob ~ Where I do not have any experience with it to the fd3s, I have used these fortune 500's on a s2000 for about a year. The suspension of both are closely related with their negative camber gain on compression. They are great performing street coilovers. Nicely built units, great tech support, custom valving and competitive price. I would buy them again. The damping and valving for street use (which I mostly used them for) was "ok" and by ok I mean gave decent ride, good rebound and compression. I am not sure how they would hold up to the brutal punishment of constant track use tho. I only say that because I was only one click down from full hard on the adjustment. But to be honest, the car was extremely low and I went with the valving they provided. If you do go this route I would talk to them about custom valving for your application. If price is a determining factor. Guys like purerx7 run across Ohlins, PCVs or DFVs high dollar units and sell them at a extremely discounted price. Just my experience with the 500s tho.

Jacob, I've got the Tein Flex with 8k/6k. You need to come drive and ride in my car before you buy anything. Fits perfectly in your budget and the car rides great.
