Coilover Recommendation for FC Track Use
Coilover Recommendation for FC Track Use
Looking for some recommendations for coilovers to use on a FC that is purely for track use. Is there anything out there for under $1000 that would be durable enough to be worth it?
What is the power level of the car and what tires are you running?
BC, Stance and Fortune 500 series will probably get the job done if you are relatively low horsepower. All of those allow you to run a 255 front tire under the stock fender with the right wheel and offset.
I tracked with BCs for awhile with NT05 tires and a NA rotary. They worked pretty well with that setup, and never gave me an issue. I have since changed to another coilover that is better suited to more power and more grip.
But I needed something stiffer with DOT R tires and ~500 HP.

If it is a serious track car you plan to upgrade you may be better served spending some more cash. If you are going to leave it as is, any of the ones I listed will due. You may want to run 9k/7k springs though since it is a dedicated track car.
