Stock R1 Shocks

I bought a set of stock R1 shocks from a friend. I was wondering how to tell which ones were the front shocks and which ones were the rear shocks. Is there a difference in size. Are the front shocks smaller in length. Never had the shocks out so I have no idea. My friend doesn't recall either. Any help differentiating between the front and rear shocks would help. Thanks

Um, it's pretty dang obvious when you go to put them on the car.... Don't you have existing shocks to compare to?

The front shocks will have a "closed" end at the bottom and will have brake line clips on the shock body. The rear shocks will not have brake line clips and will have an "open" end at the bottom (u-bracket).
