Stock Fd springs whats front whats rear

Whats the best to to differentiate the front/rear stock springs. I just want to be 100% sure. Front thicker or?

The rear springs are about 1" longer than the fronts.

other question..
is there any difference between color mark on them?

I have one set of four stock springs, front has RED mark and the rear has ORANGE mark.

and the other set of stock springs has WHITE mark on it

what does it mean?
