Stock Fd Rims/tires?

Searched the forum but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. What would be the best size tire all around for a stock fd rim or even staggered. I think I could go 245/50/16 in the rear but not sure what do do upfront. Any suggestions? I'm also running stock suspension. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Assuming you are putting them on an FD you have two choices. 225/50/16s or 245/45/16s. This is for front and rear.

Yes, 245/45-16 is the most popular "upgrade" size for stock FD wheels running on an FD.

I'd go with the 225/50/16's and get a set of Kuhmo ecsta MX's. my buddy put them on his third gen and MAN did that make a difference from the junk he had on there before... You could spend more.. but why???

Yeah, it sucks that they make the kuhmo mx's in stock fd size and not 245/45. But I think I will go with the toyo t1-s. I found them for about $117 a tire for size 245/45/16.

I'm running 255/40/R17s on the front of a 1.2" lower FD so yeah 245/45/R16s will fit just fine.

I hear ya garrett. We'll have to get together to go play. Thinking of doing some more minor mods. Hows the V8?
