Stock Electronically Adjusting Suspension on Gen 2?
Hey all, hoping I can get some suggestions...
I just bought an 86 RX-7, and it is in a bit rough of shape, especially the rear suspension.
Looking around at the car, and online, it seems that mine came with the electrically adjustible suspension (where it has the normal/sport switch in the center console), and I am wondering if it is worth trying to replace my rear suspension with something that would work with that switch. So far, all the replacements I have seen say NOT for use with the electrical type, so...
As well, the car has a bit of electrical problems (looks like someone didn't know what they were doing, and screwed with the wiring), so I have not re-attatched the center console yet - but is it even remotely possible that having it disconnected, on a electronically controlled suspension, would make it feel like the rear suspension is shot?
(by shot, I mean you push down, release, and it keeps bouncing - as if just the springs are working)
Obviously, I don't know much about mechanics on cars, only electrical, so help me out here, please...
Thanks
