Angry Still riding horribly over bumps after installing new shocks/springs , whats wrong ?

My car is still thudding/bouncing and big bumps in the road , after replacing my rear shocks/springs today with used tokico hp shocks/eibach springs..

I am not sure what the problem is , I know the shocks are good the car feels very stiff when u push down on it, but when im driving anytime i hit a big bump the back right rear shock is bouncing alot , its very bad .. i replaced the shocks assuming it would fix the problem , but it hasnt gotten any better or worse...

Looking at the suspension down there, everything seems to look fine so what could be causing my car to drive so miserably bad over big bumps ?

I'm 99% sure the shock i put in isnt bad, so i really don't know what to think the problem is

I can't afford new, i bought a parts car and im using everything from that on my car, i highly doubt it is the shock..the car feels very stiff and isnt bouncy when u push down on it.

Did you check to see that the left and right dampers rebounded at the same rate before installing them?

Buying used wheels are typically fine. Buying used tires can also be fine. Buying used suspensions or engines can be risky. Gotta pay to play or just end up paying MORE anyways. Either way the "pay" part is constant.

I'm in a similar boat, I put new rear shocks on the rear and it felt great for a month or so.
But i was wondering, how much does a bushing kit really help? Would it help with a bouncing ride? every speed bump feels like the back of my car is rising ten ft off the ground....

i'd try swapping the left and right side shock/spring combos then go for a ride. see if the problem has now switched sides, or is still on the right. this will help you pinpoint or eliminate the shocks/springs as the possible culprit

tire air pressure plays a direct role in the overall suspension compliance.

lower the air pressure you lower your "spring rate."

34 pounds of air is way too much in the rear.

wait til your tires are cold and set them 30 fr and 27 rear.

go for a ride.

as to shocks... it is highly unlikely that OE shocks have "stiffened up." i had a shock dyno for years and dynoed over 25 FD stock shocks.

i was impressed to find that a set w over 100,000 miles dynoed exactly the same as a set w 3400 miles. the only thing that goes in a shock is a blown upper seal. the shock loses, not gains, force. if a shock does have a blown seal there will be hydraulic fluid on the outside.

OP: did you replace all four corners w Eibach springs and Tokico shocks? just doing the rear is a no no.

My fc was running horribly after my first install of ky new shocks and lowering spring.
Then I found out that my rear shock was loose.(underneath the rear speeaker cover for fc)
So maybe its not tightly screwed on
