Staggered sized wheels for FC(TII)?

I am looking for wheels that are staggered in size, I have been looking at 3000+ wheel catalogues the last week, and 99% of all wheels are 17x7 for the Honda/celica crowd, being that side on looks seem to be more important than actually having a nice fat tire under the car, it seems very few decent wheels get made that are 17x9,17x10 etc etc..
What I would like to have is something like 17x9 or 17x10 in the back with 255/35/17's or bigger and 17x7 or 17x8 in the front with a 225/45/17 or something like that in the front..
Like everyone I want a nice looking wheel, something with 5 or six spokes, colour is not that important but would prefer black or gunmetal over anything else..
I could care a rats *** about wheel wieght..
I just need to put some serious rubber under the back of my car...Max

You'll find this very helpful if you don't already have knowledge of it. Problem with the TII, as you probably realize, is the front inside. If you go wider rim, you'll need the rim to extend further out. Wider rear rims no problem. Just use calculator so outside of rims look even from back. You don't want fronts out, rears in. Cross section of 225/45 slightly less than 225/50, so that shouldn't be a problem.
Good luck....A lot of combinations out there.
Keep in mind also. if you go significantly bigger in diameter on rear, it will raise the rear and change rear alignment settings. It will also change camber on front.
255/40 would be @ same dia as 225/45.

I think that's a damn great combination. Ideal for the 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 setup. What kind of suspension are you running?

Shoot me a link to that wheel. I'm not sure which one you're referring to.

You'll definitely want to go with the +35 offsets front and rear. That's a great fitment and a great wheel.

Thanks, Rishie

Let me know if you want pricing.

go with oz racing superleggas (gold colored if u have a white FC)

forgot what color u had

17x8 size wheel weighs 16.4 lbs

they are roughly 280 USD per rim.

those are what i'm getting after rebuild and paint and suspension

they are availble in 35 and 40 offset... and the bolt pattern is correct for FCs and FDs.

not sure if they have 17x9... its either 17x8, 18x8 or 18x9

i'll get everything sorted out when i order them next year...
