ST Sway Bars FC3S weird bracket??

Has anyone installed or have an idea why there is a new front sway bar end link bracket? The directions/diagram do not explain. Is there any reason i must install this on my 1988 S4 rx7? Seem like the factory s4 endlinks and brackets would work.

I got the front sway bar on and noticed that is does not clear my Koyo radiator ... but under normal suspension compression it clears with only a dimes width gap. So if i jack my car up with full suspension drop it rests against my lower radiator neck. The bars looks good used, no bends when matched up in comparison on floor with the original set. My car has never been in an accident so i believe the chassis is not bent. I might be able to make a spacer to move the front of the bar down at 1/8"-1/4" at the bushing to would generate more clearance.

Thicker radiator + big sway bar = less room... spacing the bar down a little is the best bet
