SSR wheels

this is a sad sad day for me, Tire Rack is no longer carrying SSR wheels...

I have been searching for so long for these wheels "Comp-H Silver w/Machined Lip" 17'' x 9'', all I needed was 2 for the fronts and they are no where to be found

Does anyone know where I can purchase SSR wheels in the states? every single damn link online goes to the Tire Rack site and they no longer have them in stock...

Someone was selling a used set on bimmerforums. I don't remember if the bolt pattern is the same...

Well, Tire Rack is the US distributor for SSR. You can bug Rishie at AutoRND and see if he can get them.

I work for SSR USA. The reason why Tire rack is not selling them is because Tanabe USA bought them and is now managing them and tire rack can only sell whatever stock they have left. We have many dealers you can purchase new/current wheels from. Tire rack used to handle SSR's account before Tanabe was involved in the purchase.

The COMP was replaced by the TYPE C and TYPE C RS. Unfortunately when SSR went bankrupt, a lot of dead stock wheels that were not selling were killed off. The comp was re-introduced as a better wheel called the Type C.

Your best bet is to try to find them used as a lot of the accessories and older wheels were killed off. It's really tough to keep everyone happy.

I had no idea SSR went bankrupt before wow~ they make great wheels and it would be a shame to see them fade out with the rest of the market :\ I'm looking forward to your reply soon, thanks ahead of time
There is hope! Thank you, I sent you PM regarding the wheels

No, stronger, more widths, choices in offsets, fully powdercoated vs clearcoated polished lips = better wheel. Compare the weights in some of the Rays wheels and some of ours. Sometimes they beat us, sometimes we beat them. It's not that huge of a difference.
