Ssr Gt7

What are your thoughts on these rims? I'm about to pull the trigger, but before I do I would like to see if any of you have these and if you like them, pics would be great. Also, I cannot decide what color the normal silver or the gunmetal.

I do have another question for the tire guru's. I would like to run Yokohama Advan A048 on the car. I use my car only on nice days and track events. I can run a 265-35-18 in the rear, but tirerack recomends a 235-40-18 for the front and Yokohama doesn't offer a tire in that size. Could I use a 225-40-18?

Thanks, Patrick

You can run the 225 up front... but you could also run the 265 all around,. OR 265/front, 285/rear. Has the 'rack told you what sizes/offsets those wheels will come in?

Tire Rack says that these wheels come in 18X9.5 with a 50mm offset. Looks like 9.5" will go on all 4 sides. Tire Rack also states that these wheels are light weight. not as light as comps but close. I say get them.

Partick, did you ever get these wheels? I'm considering the same for my car.

Awesome wheels, remind me of the G35 coupe wheels alittle bit. Go for it, and post the pics.

No I ended up getting Fikse FM-10's. I still think they would look hot on a black FD

Nice. Please post pics.

I am trying to decide between the Fikse Mach V and Fikse FM-10 and the SSR GT7. My car is silver.

Pat what did you do with your stockers? Im in the market for a second set if they have some decen tire tread left on the tires.

Let me know if you are interested in selling.

Pat,
The Fikse's look great, I was sorry to see them go (but not sorry that i don't have to polish them again).... Thats such an agressive fitment, especially in the rear... i love it.

I see you still are using the front S02's, what did you do for rears?

They are the same worn out tires. I have four new tires that I had planned on mounting before the Audi event at VIR, but I laid down my bike Saturday am and broke my collar bone and tore up my left side of the body. So I didn't get time to mount or go to the event...

I plan on mounting Yokohama's A032R.

Steve, I do have the stockers and the also have A032R's on them. The tires have two VIR track days on them. They have a ton of tread left.
